Tuplast, Stipple sponge and colour - Claudia
Experimentation
Health and safety:
- Use a barrier foam to ensure easy removal
- review any contraindications on the skin before any application
- be careful when removing Tuplast, can cause pain if not removed properly
- test for any allergies to any products
- ask the model or client if they know of any allergies
What I used:
- Stipple sponge
- red and pink Rimmel lip pencils
- Tuplast Kryolan
- Barrier Foam Kryolan
- Bloodymarvelous Blood
I used a stipple sponge to create bloody lines to imitate small cuts, I then used red and pink lip pencils to create the initial colour. Over the colour I added lines of Tuplast to create older scars with shine, I added powder to some of the Tuplast to remove the stickiness and shine.
What I used:
- Tuplast Kryolan
- Barrier Foam
- Purple Rimmel pencil
I used a purpled toned lip pencil from Rimmel to draw the initial line for the scar, I then aded a thick line of Tuplast over the colour, once dried I added more purple pencil around the tuplast to add depth. I am pleased with the outcome of this small design because it is the most realistic looking. I will use this design on the face for my Claudia character.
What I used:
- Stipple sponge
- Tuplast Kryolan
- Bloodymarvelous thick blood
For this design I used a stipple sponge to draw on the lines for small scratches, I then added Tuplast to some of the scars to make them look older and more serious, I then added some thick blood to two of the scars to make them look fresh.
