Haiti Masks are a tradition in African culture for carnivals and celebrations inspired by the religion and voodoo. Below the images show a selection of masks and costumes worn by people in modern times in carnivals, they are inspired by the traditional tribes and natives. After the Haiti people beat the french in a war and managed to become their own country, they believed that voodoo had helped them, they will forever celebrate the spirits that they believe in with carnivals and religious festivals and celebrations giving donations and prayers. Music is played using loud drums and people dress up in colourful clothes to reflect the mood and personalty.
