Claudia 

My idea for my first character; Claudia, is to be a member of the witch community, she has the gift but is emotionally drained and pained for her love for Quentin, a figment of her imagination and voodoo master. Claudia has a disorder called agoraphobia, this means she is terrified with the outdoors and believes people outside will harm her. This disorder has resulted in her hallucinations of Quentin and self harm, she has scratches and scars on her face and neck and is going insane. She developed agoraphobia from her childhood her parents adopted her and when they found out they where unable to accept she was a witch. She was locked away and was left to mature with her telly watching horror films, this was the development of her disorder and imaginary friends.

Quentin 

Quentin is the imaginary boyfriend of Claudia, she has created him in her crazy mind to be a voodoo master forbidden to love her. This has heightened her disorder but keeps her talking. Quentin practices black magic and doesn't see Claudia that often, which makes her paranoid. He wears loose old coloured clothes that imitate bandages and bold makeup to imitate a skull. My initial vision of Quentin is a skull shape on the face, blended at the edges and a symbol to represent the voodoo religion. I also want to use blood eye drops to create a leading eye effect. I will use fullers earth on the face and hair to create a dirty and dusty look. He uses his voodoo magic to change his appearance according to what Claudia wants, but his true form is a voodoo master.
