Mens Victorian Hair styles

This is a mixture of mens hair and facial hair throughout the Victorian era, some of the styles are from earlier on, for example, the hair that is parted in the middle, later on hair became more free, but facial hair went out of fashion.

During the Victorian era, mens hair was at first extremely flamboyant; with long facial hair that looked a bit like whiskers or 'lamb chops.' The hair on mens heads would have been parted at the middle and either slick back or loose curls  Later in the era facial hair became less popular and then went completely out of fashion, a moustache was the only facial hair that was still considered fashionable.

These modern hair styles are taken from a much more recent time but I can see the resemblance to some of the victorian looks above. The curls and the moustache show a link to the same type of hair styles that used to be considered fashionable.
